About Us

History

Ace Instruments began in 1989 in Fort St John. Dino Soucy, an employee at the time, purchased the company in 1995. 25+ years later Dino has grown the company from 10 employees to over 90, from one location to four and from a 1,500 square foot facility to 20,000 square feet in our current facility. In 2005 Ace became a leader in safety and quality when we became the only locally owned E&I business to receive both our COR and ISO 9001 certification. Dino accredits this growth to the implementation of the standards set by these certifying organizations and to an amazing and dedicated staff, many of whom have 10+ years of service with Ace. Through positive leadership from both management and supervisors to commitment and hard work by all, Ace Instruments is continuing this growth. By practicing Ace’s mission statement of “setting the standard in providing our valued customers with the highest quality of services, products and solutions”, we believe the company will achieve even stronger alliances and success with all of our customers in the coming years.

Main Branch Fort St John – With the industry demand and the desire to service our customers even better, Ace has expanded our facility to just under 20,000 sqft.

From our facilities in Fort St John, Dawson Creek, and Calgary, we provide everything from maintenance and construction to programming and design. Our field technicians are of the highest quality in their trade and are trained in services such as programming, fire and gas detection, SCADA systems, wireless integration, combustion/emission equipment and more.

Our in house services include the repair and calibration of a variety of oilfield equipment, the design and fabrication of metering buildings & skids, the rental of calibration & test equipment, and of course over the counter sales. We can also handle larger skids for modifying or rebuilding. We are able to offer very competitive pricing on a variety of parts because of our large inventory and several exclusive distributorship agreements that we have in place. We encourage you to contact us for any product sourcing required.

We are a CSA certified manufacturing facility for General Purpose, class 1 div 1 and class 1 div 2, solar chemical injection packages and will assist in the design of these or metering packages to ensure optimum performance and government compliance. Our repair depot offers an exchange program on Texsteam chemical pumps and Kimray glycol pumps, and we also have over 100 recorders available for rent. We offer a preventative maintenance program for our clients and these schedules are established as per regulatory and client requirements.  These requirements are then put into our automated PM program and upcoming maintenance work is scheduled with our client.

From pulling wire and installing devices to start-up and commissioning, Ace Instruments will be there to assist with all your facility construction and maintenance needs.
